Charlotte Mecklenburg Emergency Management Presser Regarding Flooding Across The Area | VIDEO

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management Office, Charlotte Fire Department, and Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department will hold a virtual media briefing Thursday to update the public about the flooding across the area.

This update comes after multiple evacuation have taken place across the city including one at a northeast Charlotte charter school. The charter school had 143 people that needed to be rescued.

Across the county multiple roads have seen closures and traffic flow changes due to intense flooding.
