Wilson’s World Homeschool: Winter Birds with the Eco-Explorers at The North Carolina Arboretum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  It’s all about winter birds this morning at  The North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville.  Wilson was with the Arboretum’s Ana Lindsay learning about the winter birds that their Eco-Explore participants can spot during these colder months.

Thousands of kids have sent in their photo observations from their own backyard and are earning badges and prizes while learning more about nature and possibly help scientists. More information about the Eco-Explore program at The North Carolina Arboretum can be found at ecoexplore.net.

The North Carolina Arboretum offers acres of cultivated gardens and groomed trails featuring some of the most beautiful, botanically-diverse plants in the region. The North Carolina Arboretum is located  at 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way in Asheville, NC.
