CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On January 28th, 1986 millions watched as the Challenger Space Shuttle was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida and then, only 73 seconds later, saw it engulfed in a cloud of fire over the Atlantic ocean, killing the entire crew. Zach Lemhouse (a.k.a. Zak the Historian) from the Historical Center of York County joins Wilson to talk about the Challenger Space Shuttle disaster and the Carolina connections.
