Wilson’s World HomeSchool: In the Planetarium at the Schiele Museum Learning More about NASA’s Perseverance Mars Landing on Thursday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In today’s Wilson’s World HomeSchool Candice Jordan joins us in the Planetarium of the Schiele Museum of Natural History in Gastonia telling us about NASA’s big landing on Mars. Tomorrow, after a 7 month trip, NASA’s rover, Perseverance, will finally make it to its final destination…Mars. The rover, which is about the size of a small car and weighs over 2,000 lbs, will have 7 minutes of nail-biting “terror” as it touches down inside Mars’ Jezero Crater. It is scheduled to land at 3:55pm EST tomorrow.
