Wilson’s World HomeSchool: ‘Color a Brighter Future’ Virtual Event for Classroom Central

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It has been a few months since Wilson last checked in with Classroom Central, so today he made a virtual visit with Karen Calder to learn more about their  upcoming ‘Color a Brighter Future’ virtual event they will be holding in April.  They also discussed how Classroom Central, teachers and students have been impacted during the pandemic and how they are in dire need of more supplies as more kids head back to school.

At 8am on April 20th, Classroom Centeral along with Harris Teeter will  hold a virtual event for anyone who would like to learn more about Classroom Central, the struggles and and triumphs our teachers and students face on a daily basis – and how your support has the power to change thousands of lives. More about the virtual event can be found HERE.

The mission of Classroom Central is to give students who live in poverty the school supplies they need to succeed in the classroom.  Classroom Central covers schools in Charlotte Mecklenburg, Gaston, Iredell/Statesville, Union, the City of Kannapolis, and Lancaster, SC.  Learn more about their virtual event and find out more about Classroom Central and how you can help go to their website at classroomcentral.org.
