When you’re behind the wheel of your Toyota car a lot, comfort is key. It’s critical that you can get from point A to point B (and back again, and again, and again) without pain or discomfort, and that your drive time is as enjoyable as it can be. Our N Charlotte Toyota dealership is here to help, as always. Today we’ve got tips from the experts on how to transform your N Charlotte Toyota car to make it as comfortable as possible.
Four ways to add comfort to your drive time in your Toyota car
It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or take a lot of time or effort to make your Toyota car more enjoyable to drive or ride in. Check out these four tips to get the process started!
Tip #1: Adjust your seat. When’s the last time you adjusted your seat to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible? This can play a key role in keeping you happy behind the wheel. (And a lot of our N Charlotte Toyotas have power adjustable seats that even have memory settings if you have multiple people behind the wheel.) When you sit down, the backs of your thighs should sit comfortably on the seat and the backs of your knees shouldn’t be touching the seat. Further, your feet should comfortably reach the pedals and your hips should be as high as your knees. Make sure you can easily reach the steering wheel, and that your chin is as high as the top of the wheel.
Tip #2: Keep the air clean. Make sure that the air inside your cabin is as clean as possible to ensure a quality drive time experience. This means routinely changing out your cabin air filters. If you smell something odd or musty inside the cabin,
Tip #3: Get the cabin to the right temperature. Having the right temperature inside your Toyota car’s cabin is another critical component of a comfortable drive time. Make sure you get the cold (or warm) air flowing and always stay on top of routine air conditioning service. Our N Charlotte Toyota service center can easily keep you on a schedule for this car care and let you know when you’re due so you can keep your cabin at the perfect temp year round.
Tip #4: Buy the right accessories. It doesn’t hurt to purchase a few car accessories here and there to keep things comfortable when you’re behind the wheel. You can add padded seat cushions and covers, heated seat covers, a padded steering wheel cover, and lumbar support to your seat, among other things. Shop around and see which car parts and accessories (like a lap desk, a condiment holder, etc.) will make the biggest difference in your drive time.
