Wilson’s World: The Charlotte Community Toolbank Celebrates 10 Years of Service

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Even though we  have been going through a pandemic and covid lockdown, the Charlotte Community Toolbank has kept busy and this week they will celebrate 10 years of serving the  Charlotte area.   This morning Wilson was joined by Sara Downing  and Tom Planischek with Clancy & Theys Construction to talk about their pledge of $1000 and 100 volunteer hours to the Toolbank in honor of their 10 years of service.  Ann Marie Worman, Executive Director, with the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas to talk about the importance of the Toolbank to their organization.

The Charlotte Community ToolBank is a nonprofit tool lending program that provides charitable organizations with year-round access to an inventory of tools for use in volunteer projects, facility and grounds maintenance as well as special events.  They offer hundreds of different types of tools and equipment from simple screwdrivers to power tools and even generators.
