Sunny and Dry Start to the Week
It’s a much cooler start this morning with temps in the 30s and 40s. Clear skies will keep us dry today as temps reach the low to mid-60s this afternoon. Temps will climb into the low 70s tomorrow. Clouds fill in Tuesday night ahead of a strong cold front. Rain and storms return Wednesday. Heavy rain could lead to localized flooding with a few stronger storms possible during the late afternoon and early evening hours. Any storm that becomes severe will have the potential to bring damaging wind and large hail.
Much colder air will fill in behind this system with the chance for a coating of snow for the higher elevations. Wind will be strong Thursday with gusts exceeding 30-40 mph. Temps won’t get out of the low to mid-50s through the end of the week with overnight lows tumbling below freezing.
Easter weekend will be pleasant with highs back in the low 70s by Easter Sunday. Sunny and dry for any outdoor plans.
