LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers say a woman was killed when her vehicle overturned in Lincoln County. The accident was reported just after 11am on April 11th on Reepsville Road near Seagletown Road.
Troopers say 56-year-old Sherry Noles, of Vale, was traveling east on Reepsville Road when she ran off the road to the left, struck an embankment and overturned. Noles was not wearing a seatbelt, according to authorities. Troopers say she died at the scene.
The road was closed for approximately two hours while Troopers investigated. No other details have been released at this time.
