IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. – The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 5-month-old child.
Deputies were called to a home on Old Mountain Road in Statesville Sunday afternoon.
Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell told WCCB News their preliminary investigation shows the child was left inside a car for several hours.
The case is still under investigation.
