Charlotte Thunder Preparing To Host Championship Game Saturday June 26
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Thunder are one game away from capping off their season with a storybook ending. The Thunder (10-0) will play the North Texas Bulls Saturday, June 26 inside Bojangles’ Coliseum for the American Arena League Championship.
Charlotte has dominated every team they’ve faced this season with their closest margin of victory an impressive 35 points.
“We’ve played so well all season long, but we haven’t really peaked like we need to peak on offense,” said Thunder head coach Ervin Bryson.
Despite the words from coach Bryson the Thunder are averaging 69 points per game.
The Thunder wrapped up the regular season on June 6, so the team should be well-rested when they hit the field for the championship game.
“I believe that our guys are still working and they’re hungry enough to be able to put ourselves in a situation to go out and get this win no problem.”
