Tracking a Tropical Wave in the Atlantic

Development chances are decreasing for a tropical wave over the far eastern Atlantic Ocean

We are watching a tropical wave over the far eastern Atlantic Ocean, but as of Friday, June 25th there is a very low chance for development.

TROPICAL WAVE: This wave came off the coast of Africa and is now over the far eastern Atlantic Ocean – the National Hurricane Center has decreased development chances with this and giving it now a low 10% chance of tropical formation over the next 5 days. We will continue to watch this closely, but it is very far away and further development is unlikely.
