Edge On The Clock: Duke University Will Require Masks Indoors, Regardless Of Vaccination Status

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke University is taking stand against COVID-19. University leaders issued a letter Wednesday, stating masks indoors will be mandatory for everyone, regardless of vaccination status. There is an exception for on-campus residence halls, where they say there is a significantly lower risk for exposure. The new policy takes effect on Friday.

Plus, Reggie Bush will not have his 2005 Heisman Trophy re-instated. This, despite rule changes that went into effect earlier in July regarding the regulations of college athletes’ being paid for use of their names, images, and likenesses.

And, a German judo star is defending her unorthodox, pre-match ritual, which is being shaken by her collar and getting slapped in the face by her coach, after fans expressed concern for the Olympian.
