Edge On The Clock: 80 Escaped Ostriches Run The Streets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Some escaped ostriches put on quite a show in the streets of south China. 80 of the big birds made a break for it, after local authorities say a farmer forgot to lock the gate. Ostriches are some of the fastest birds on the planet on foot, capable of sprinting up to 45 miles per hour! But with the help of police, the farmer was able to successfully round most of them up.

Plus, it’s never too late to learn something new. An 83-year-old great grandmother in Texas decided to take on a new challenge during the pandemic, working toward a degree at Harvard!

And, physical CDs and vinyl albums could be making a comeback. According to a yearly report from MRC Data, CD sales went up in 2021 for the first time since 2004.
