Edge On The Clock: Trump’s Social Media App Launches, Kind Of
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump’s social media platform “Truth Social” is now live, sort of. The app is available for download on Apple’s App Store, but access appears limited for now. Many who attempted to register for the service were put on a “wait list.” The head of the media company said Truth Social expects to be fully operational by the end of March. Posts on the platform are referred to as “truths.” Amplifications of a post are known as “re-truths.”
Plus, McDonald’s is officially bringing back the Shamrock Shake, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The longtime favorite was first sold in 1970 and is made with vanilla soft serve ice cream, mint flavors, and whipped topping.
And, Snapchat users can now share their real-time location with friends. Snapchatters will be able to share where they are for up to eight-hours.
