Deputies: Iredell County Man Busts Into Family Home Under The Influence At 2AM

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. – Iredell County deputies arrested a man who allegedly entered a family’s home under the influence on Monday, April 4.

Deputies responded to a call on East Memorial Highway at approximately 2 a.m.

The homeowners reported that a Yadkinville man, identified as 39-year-old Kirk Ferriola, knocked on the back door of the family’s home. Deputies say upon answering the door, Ferriola pushed past the homeowners and began screaming for them to call 911.

Ferriola reportedly locked himself in a bedroom in the family’s home until police arrived. Deputies say he appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance.

Ferriola was arrested without incident and charged with felony first-degree burglary. According to a news release, Ferriola has a history of charges including possession of meth.
