KANNAPOLIS, N.C. โ A woman is dead after getting struck by a tractor-trailer on Monday,ย April 18th.
Police responded to the call at approximately 5 a.m near the intersection of Kannapolis Parkway and Rogers Lake Road. Police say a woman was in the middle of an unlit street when she was struck by the trailer.
Officers have identified the victim as 25-year-old Olondra Gibbs. Gibbs was pronounced dead at the scene.
