Unsettled, Summer-Like Pattern This Week
- AM Patchy Fog
- Above Average Temps
- Highs near 90
- Scattered Afternoon/Evening Storms Tuesday – Friday
- Cooler Weekend
A series of disturbances will lead to an unsettled pattern setting up this week. Patchy AM fog will give way to mainly sunny skies by mid-morning. Highs will warm into the upper 80s today – about 10 degrees above average. Minimal rain and storm chances this afternoon, but expect a few more storms this week. A warm front will lift across the area tonight, increasing the chance for afternoon and evening storms Tuesday through the end of the week. Highs will near 90, with the hottest stretch of weather yet this season. General thunderstorms are expected, but we could see one or two storms bring gusty wind and hail meaning an isolated severe storm or two will be possible. Cooler temps slide in this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s and overnight lows falling back into the mid-50s by Sunday morning.
