Healthy Headlines: Seasonal Affective Disorder

CHARLOTTE, NC — We are currently experiencing some of the shortest days of the year. While that can me less time to do some of the outdoor activities we love, for the more than 3 million Americans who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorderβ€”or SADβ€”the shorter days and longer nights mean an onslaught of depression symptoms as well as fatigue and feelings of hopelessness.

Our guest today is Soltana Nosrati, a therapist with Novant Health Psychiatric Associates – Huntersville, who is here to help us better understand SAD and how to address it.
