Healthy Headlines: Seasonal Affective Disorder

CHARLOTTE, NC — We are currently experiencing some of the shortest days of the year. While that can me less time to do some of the outdoor activities we love, for the more than 3 million Americans who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder—or SAD—the shorter days and longer nights mean an onslaught of depression symptoms as well as fatigue and feelings of hopelessness.

Our guest today is Soltana Nosrati, a therapist with Novant Health Psychiatric Associates – Huntersville, who is here to help us better understand SAD and how to address it.
