Union County Commissioners Vote On Removal Of Fluoride From County Water

UNION COUNTY, N.C.– Commissioners in Union County are debating on whether or not to remove fluoride from the county’s water supply. Commissioners heard from the public on the matter Monday night. Commissioners voted 3 to 2 to approve the measure but because the vote was not unanimous, commissioners will vote again at the next meeting on February 19th. WCCB Charlotte’s Lauren McDonald talked with an Associate Professor, at East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine, about the proposal.
