Suspect Charged Following Deadly Shooting At 7-Eleven In Huntersville
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to a homicide at a 7-Eleven in Huntersville on Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7:59 a.m. at the 7-Eleven store at 11065 Ellenwood Road in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Authorities responded to this location in regards to a suspicious person in the area. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 38-year-old Michael Edward Pride Jr., outside the store with a gunshot wound. Pride was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, 23-year-old Salverio Antonio Campagna, was arrested later that day and charged with murder.
Campagna is being held without bond at the Cabarrus County Jail.
