Hornets Coach, Steve Clifford Stepping Down In Hopes Of Taking Front Office Role With Team

Charlotte Hornets head coach, Steve Clifford is stepping down in hopes of working in the front office. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Clifford informed his staff and players on Wednesday of his decision. He plans to stay with the team in a front office capacity. Clifford has worked with several teams during his coaching career including during the Charlotte Bobcats brief NBA stint and with the Orlando Magic in 2018. The Charlotte Hornets will start their coaching search immediately.
