DETROIT, MI – After trading up into the first round, the Carolina Panthers were left with one pick in the second round.
The Panthers traded back to pick No. 52, in doing so they regained the 2025 second round pick they gave up to acquire Bryce Young.
They also regained a fifth round pick this year, replacing the one they traded away on Thursday to jump up and select Xavier Legette.
General Manager Dan Morgan did not stop there. The Panthers jumped back up to 46, giving up both fifth round picks from this year, to select running back Jonathon Brooks.
20-year-old Brooks played at the University of Texas. He’s coming off of ACL surgery in November of 2023.
At the moment, the Panthers have one more pick in Friday night, number 65 in the third round.
