Drier Air Filtering In

AM Headlines:

  • Warm and Dry
  • Low Humidity
  • Weekend Storm Chances
Discussion:
We’re entering a warm and pleasant stretch, thanks to high pressure that will keep our weather more stable and a lot more quiet through the end ofΒ  the week. You’ll notice the drop in humidity first, as it won’t be as sticky this afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s. It will be a bit breezy for our mountain communities, but just a light northwest breeze outside of the higher elevations. A stalled front will keep rain chances for our coastal communities, but this will begin to dissolve through the week. Cooler air settled in mid-week with overnight lows falling into the low 60s Wednesday morning and highs getting back into the mid 80s during the day. The rest of the week will be even more pleasant with morning lows in the upper 50s and highs in the low 80s. A blocking pattern will keep these nice conditionsΒ through the start of the weekend. High pressure will begin to slide off the coast Saturday, allowing for the return of some moisture across the region. Sunday will be the start of a much more active period with scattered showers and storms keeping the forecast more unsettled into the start of next week.
