Up ‘n Adam: Bush Family Classic For Gary’s House
KENNEBUNKPORT, M.E. — Adam Wurtzel took a trip to Kennebunkport, Maine to a special golf tournament for an incredible cause.
Gary’s House is an organization that houses the sick, and their families as they are being treated for medical care. The founder, Trudy McNeil lost her son, Gary Pike to cancer when he was just 20 years. Gary’s final wish was to ensure that families did not have to go through what his family went through, to try to find, and afford housing while in the hospital.
President Bush Sr. and First Lady Barbara Bush were huge supporters in the organization, and their grandchildren continue to honor their legacy, via a Gala and Golf Tournament each year. Natalie and Jonathan Stewart also attend the events every year.
Both the Gala and the Golf Tournament will be featured in an episode of “Lately with Natalie & Jonathan Stewart” Season 2, coming soon.
