Over 7,000 people gathered in downtown Mooresville on Thursday to celebrate Independence Day with the Stars and Stripes on Main Parade Presented by Lowe’s.

The parade featured over 200 participants that included drill teams, dance groups, local performers and floats from local businesses.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and the enthusiastic participation from our community,” said Christine Patterson, Mooresville Arts & Events Manager. “This parade is a wonderful tradition that brings the community together, and we’re so grateful for the support of Lowe’s and other local partners that help make this experience possible.”
