CMPD Street Takeover Event Results In Five Vehicles Seized
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β CMPD officers in coordination with NC Highway Patrol conducted a large street takeover event to various locations throughout Charlotte, according to CMPD.
Officers responded to six locations and the event resulted in five vehicles and two firearms seized, 20 issued citations and two arrests, as said in a CMPD tweet.
The tweet also said a spectator was transported to a hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle, which was involved in a takeover and erupted in flames and left abandoned at Arrowood and I-77.
