CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control (ACC) and Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) are partnering to host a FREE Microchip Clinic for Mecklenburg County pets.
In conjunction with Best Friends’ Return to Home Challenge this September, ACC aims to enhance efforts in reuniting lost pets with their families.
To commemorate National Responsible Dog Ownership Day on Saturday, September 21, we want to remind pet owners that microchipping remains one of the most effective and reliable methods to safeguard your pet if they become lost.
ACC’s Tag Team will be available to answer any questions about microchips, includingtheir functionality and the simplicity and ease of the microchipping process.

• Have your pet microchipped with a HomeAgain Microchip on site.
• Receive a custom-engraved pet ID tag.
• All pets microchipped will receive a complimentary smart tag, courtesy of Best
Friends and Pet Hub.
