It’s National Chocolate Day!

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Chocolate fans have a reason to celebrate. Monday, October 28th is National Chocolate Day! Chocolate comes from the seed of the tropical Theobroma cacao tree. The plant grows in Mexico, Central America, and Northern South America. Historians document the earliest known use of cacao seeds at around 1100 BC. You can celebrate by posting to social media using the hashtag, #NationalChocolateDay.
