It’s National Candy Corn Day!

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Today the country celebrates one of Halloween’s most iconic candies. Wednesday, October 30th is National Candy Corn Day! The candy first debuted in the late 1880’s. George Renninger made the treat to resemble corn kernels. The treat has since evolved coming in different colors and shapes. Mondelez International, the company that owns Oreo’s, released a rendition of a candy corn cookie back in 2012.
