NCDMV services restored after NCDIT mainframe issues
CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Services have been restored at the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles. The agency stopped processing transactions at 112 of the states driver license offices due to computer issues. License plate agencies, online services and self-service kiosks were also affected. According to officials– the mainframe was restored around 3:15 p.m. NCDMV said the North Carolina Department of Information Technology will continue monitoring the systems.
