Bride’s engagement ring falls into sewer drain during photo shoot
CLEVELAND, OH.– Cleveland firefighters saved the day after retrieving an engagement ring from a sewer drain after it flew off the bride’s finger during an engagement photo shoot. The couple shared their story with People Magazine, saying the bride was calm during the whole ordeal but the groom was panicking. The couple says the ring isn’t replaceable because the diamond baguettes on the side came from both their grandmother’s rings. The couple called the nonemergency number for help. Firefighters from Cleveland Fire Station 30 came out and were able to use a metal rod to fish the ring out of the sewer in about five minutes. Luckily the ring was not damaged. The couple says they’re having it cleaned at the jeweler before the big day.
