Northern lights seen on NYE in Alaska

Fairbanks, AK– Revelers in Alaska didn’t need fireworks to brighten the night sky to celebrate the New Year. Mother Nature provided this spectacular display at a remote northern part of the state. The northern lights were captured by the University of Alaska Fairbanks on Tuesday night.
