Trump’s cabinet picks start senate hearings today
WASHINGTON, D.C.– Inauguration Day is not until January 20th but cabinet confirmation hearings start today for President-Elect Donald Trump. The president will name his picks to head the various federal departments in the Executive Branch. The Constitution charges the senate with giving, quote “advice and consent,” which happens through hearings and votes.
