TikTok’s future uncertain despite restored service

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– It’s unclear how much longer American TikTok fans will be able to use the app. A law citing national security says it’s supposedly banned in the U.S. TikTok’s Parent company, ByteDance, failed to sell it to a non-Chinese buyer by the January 19th deadline. WCCB Charlotte’s Amy Kiley reports on how the social media platform is still operating and whether that might change.
