Stein announces Helene recovery funding for NC small businesses

BOONE, N.C.– Governor Josh Stein has announced new efforts to help small businesses rebuild and recover following hurricane Helene. The governor announce that 30 million dollars worth of grant funds are now available to eligible small business owners in western North Carolina. The funds aim to help those businesses still struggling after Helene destroyed areas in western North Carolina. Stein also announced 3 million dollars in funding to help Habitat for Humanity so they can continue helping Helene victims with home repairs.
