Deadly winter storm threatens millions as frigid cold moves into the Carolinas
CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Another round of extreme winter weather is battering millions across the country. Eleven people have died, including a child, following record rainfall and flooding in Kentucky. Officials worry the death toll will continue to rise as the flood threat lingers across the southeast and Midwest. Tens of millions of Americans are now under cold weather alerts across the country, with life threatening temperatures on the way to the Carolinas. WCCB Charlotte’s Michael Yoshida has the latest.
