LA Fire Chief appeals dismissal

LOS ANGELES, CA.– The former Los Angeles fire department chief is appealing her dismissal. Last week, Mayor Karen Bass removed Kristin Crowley over her response to the devastating Palisades wildfire. Bass said this was in the best interest of Los Angeles’ public safety and the operations of the fire department. She faced criticism for her handling of last month’s Palisades fire which killed 12 people and burned nearly 24 thousand acres. Crowley’s appeal hearing is set for March 4th.
