CHARLTOTE, NC – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is extending service hours starting today.
42 driver license offices will join 50 others opening an hour earlier at 7 a.m., offering an additional hour for appointments and services.
Additionally, NCDMV’s summer walk-in service hours will return later this year.
In 2024, nearly 17,000 transactions were processed at 16 offices during the 12 Saturdays of the season.
This year, 20 offices will offer Saturday service from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from June 7 to August 23.
