Local artist presents 80-foot mural at Rosa Parks Community Transit Center June 20th

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is hosting a drop-in style event to showcase the city’s first stormwater education sidewalk mural.

Created in collaboration with local artist and educator Jamil Dyair Steele and shaped by community input, the nearly 80-foot mural illustrates how pollution travels from our streets into local streams and lakes and highlights simple actions we can all take to protect our waterways.
