UPDATE (07/10/2025):
Rock Hill Police say a shooting that injured a 19-year-old man is now a homicide investigation after the victim died from his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Jy Querious Catoe of Rock Hill.
Police say two people have been arrested in connection to the case. A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested on Wednesday night.
Early Thursday morning, 19-year-old A’montae White, turned himself in to police.
White and the 16-year-old are both charged with and charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

ROCK HILL, SC – A shooting investigation is underway after a 19-year-old man was shot on Monday night.
Rock Hill Police say they were called just before 10 p.m. to Adam’s Grocery on South Wilson Street for a shooting call.
When they arrived at the store, they were told that two male suspects were shooting at two male victims. Police say the suspects followed one of the victims out of the convenience store and began shooting at him. As the victim was trying to get in his vehicle, a 19-year-old man who was in the passenger seat was shot.
The victim was driven to Piedmont Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time. This is a developing story.
