NYC Police drones catch subway surfers on camera

NEW YORK, NY – New video this morning show a group of teens in New York taking on a dangerous trend called subway surfing.
The NYPD’s drone team captured this last week.
The boys spotted were between 12 to 16 years old, riding on top of an express train traveling at a high rate of speed.
The train was stopped and held at a nearby station and officers took the four into custody.
Officials say the operation started in November 2023, and so far they’ve stopped 200 people from subway surfing.
