Cabarrus County Schools head back to class, superintendent credits parents for great first day
CABARRUS CO., N.C. – On Monday, Cabarrus, Stanly and Iredell-Statesville students got back to work. Cabarrus County Schools Superintendent John Kopicki says everything went well for the first day back to class, and he credits parents for helping create such a great community. He says, “I’d like to thank our parents because our kids come from incredible homes and our parents are a big part of our community. If there are any problems or any glitches that they’re having with transportation, school, lunch or schedule anything, please reach out to the principal and let them know what it is right away.”
On Tuesday, kids in Kannapolis City and Lancaster head back to class. On Wednesday, it’s Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln counties. Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Union County students go back on August 25th.
