GE Appliances plans to invest more in US operations, including in South Carolina
SOUTH CAROLINA – GE Appliances plans to shift production of refrigerators, gas ranges and water heaters out of China and Mexico to invest in its operations in the U.S., including in South Carolina.
Officials with the company say they are investing $3 billion to expand operations at several U.S. locations. General Electric operates a water heat manufacturing location in Kershaw County.
