CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives say a woman was shot and killed Friday morning at a hotel in southwest Charlotte.
Officers responded to Woodspring Suites on Deboer Avenue near W. Arrowood Road Friday morning in reference to a shooting, according to CMPD.
Upon arrival, officers say they located a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced at the scene by MEDIC, according to a news release.
CMPD’s Major Ryan Kendall says their initial investigations reveal there was some type of disturbance or dispute prior to the shooting.
