International Coffee Day with Bitty & Beau’s

CHARLOTTE, NC – In honor of international coffee day, we wanted to highlight a local coffee shop with a mission.

Bitty and Beau’s is a self-proclaimed human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace.

The Rising crew chatted with Frannie Cohen and Connor Perkins about the life skills and hard work that goes into a cup of joe.
