CMPD arrests man in deadly motel shooting in south Charlotte
THE LATEST
CMPD has arrested a 32-year-old man in connection to a deadly shooting at a south Charlotte motel earlier this month.
Ronnie Fewell is accused of shooting and killing 53-year-old Ronald Neville at a motel off Wallingford Street.
Fewell was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy.

CMPD is investigating a murder at a motel in south Charlotte.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 4800 block of Wallingford Street near West Woodlawn Road.
When officers arrived, they located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were administered but the victim died at the scene.
CMPD says they believe this was an isolated incident, but they did not say if a suspect is in custody.
This shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 704-432-8477 and speak to a Homicide Unit detective.
