Clearing continues with a slight cool down Thursday

80s return this weekend

It remains very dry across the region with another clear night in store. A light northeasterly breeze will be in tack with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Temperatures will be the center of attention going into Thursday as it will feel much cooler by mid-afternoon into the evening. A dry cold front moves across the region making the feel of fall pretty noticeable throughout the foothills to the lower elevations. Highs Thursday drop nearly 10 degrees, with overnight lows nearly 5 degrees below average. As your planning dinner or late-night plans tomorrow, a bigger coat might be necessary. High pressure remains in control as it hits its apex across the eastern seaboard and won’t start to back off until Saturday afternoon.

Saturday the weather roller coaster returns as winds shift out of the south and west giving way for a return to the 80s! This will be your pick day of the entire week before a few scattered showers enter our region Sunday. Do not cancel any outdoor plans for Sunday as this won’t be significant rain event. Stay tuned!
