Weekend warm-up on the way
Tracking in a few scattered showers Sunday
All good things must come to an end and that transition starts Sunday. While most of the moisture remains west of the Continental Divide, scattered showers and a few storms will find their way into the WCCB Charlotte viewing area Sunday afternoon and evening. The severe threat will be minimal, although a few heavy showers and storms are possible later in the day. Most totals in the Carolinas remain well under a half inch before the rain clears out by Monday morning. Next week appears to pick up where we leave off today – sunny, breezy, and dry.
