Road rage arrest leads to ‘ghost guns’
A road rage arrest leads to police confiscating two ghost guns in Monroe.
Curtis Ciampo, 71, is charged with simple assault and possession of a firearm by a felon.
According to police, a caller reported that Ciampo pointed a gun at them while driving westbound on U.S. 74.
The caller provided video of Ciampo holding a gun and tapping it on the door of the vehicle.
Officers spotted the suspect’s truck and then pulled him over.
During the search of his truck, police found two untraceable guns.
